Frequently asked questions
A reminder did not arrive
Open Settings → Reminder self-check: it tests delivery through the real path and shows exactly where delivery is lost.
Allow notifications for Sklyanka, exact alarms and reminders (Android 12 and later), and full-screen notifications if you want to see the card on the lock screen.
Remove battery restrictions for Sklyanka in the device settings: EMUI, HyperOS/MIUI and One UI have their own “app launch” and “autostart” lists. Check Do Not Disturb and Do Not Disturb access if it is enabled.
After a restart, a time-zone change and leaving Doze, the app restores its schedule itself. If a reminder still does not arrive, email the self-check export to support@stohastika.ru.
The app cannot guarantee delivery on a device where the system or vendor firmware forcibly stops background work. Diagnostics shows exactly what is restricted.
Why does the app ask for permissions
Notifications — to show a reminder. Exact alarms — to remind you at the scheduled minute, not “within an hour”. A full-screen notification — so the intake card is visible on the lock screen.
Boot — to restore the schedule after a restart. Do Not Disturb policy access — to explain a silent signal and help with setup. Vibration — a tactile signal.
Location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar and SMS are not requested. The app has no internet access.
Where is my data stored
Only on your device, in the app's private storage. There is no account, cloud or sync. The app does not request the INTERNET permission and collects no analytics, crashes or advertising identifiers. Android system backup for the app is disabled.
How do I move data to a new phone
On the old phone: Settings → Data transfer → create a file.
Keep the file in a safe place. It is not encrypted: do not send it through cloud storage, messengers or email unless necessary.
Install Sklyanka on the new phone and load the file through Data transfer. Resolve any matches the app suggests.
How do I delete my data
Clear the app's data in Android settings or uninstall the app. The local database, settings and archived records are deleted with the app's data. There is no server copy.
You may export a report or a transfer file before deleting — that is your choice.
Is everything really free
Yes. Everything is available to everyone: complex schedules, widgets, an extended PDF report, CSV, accent themes, both icon variants and profiles beyond two. Everything is included, with no ads.
Is this a medical app
No. Sklyanka is not a medical device, does not give treatment recommendations and does not select dosages. The app does not check drug interactions, does not make a diagnosis and does not replace a doctor.
Your doctor prescribes the plan; the app records what you enter and reminds you.
Watches, iOS, cloud, sync
Not supported. The app runs on Android 8.0 and later; there are no watches or wearables, and there is no cloud or sync. A second phone gets data only through a transfer file.
Languages
Russian, English, German, Spanish, Kazakh, Simplified Chinese. The interface language follows the system.
How do I report a bug or suggest an improvement
Write to support@stohastika.ru: the app version (Settings → About), the Android version and device model, what you did and what you expected, and what happened — a screenshot if possible.
Do not send medication names, doses or the transfer file unless it is needed for the investigation. For reminder issues, the technical log export is enough.
Privacy
The app's privacy policy is published on a separate page; it is linked from the footer of the support page and from the app's store listing.
