1. Scope

This policy describes how the Sklyanka app for Android (package ru.stohastika.sklyanka) handles your information. It covers the app, not the studio's website: the website may have its own policy, and that policy does not replace this page.

Sklyanka is a local medication tracker. The app is not a medical device, does not give treatment recommendations and does not select dosages.

The effective date is 17.10.2026. The Russian edition has legal force; translations are provided for convenience.

2. What information is processed

You enter the following into the app yourself:

  • medication names, dosage form, dose, a link to meals, the course period and the schedule;
  • “taken” and “missed” marks and their time;
  • package stock and the refill warning threshold;
  • profile names (your own profile and dependants' profiles);
  • intake history, adherence and doctor-report settings.

This information may relate to health — a special category of personal data. The app processes it only on the device, in the app's private storage. The operator does not receive it on its servers and has no access to it.

3. What the app does not have

  • Transfer of data to a server: the build does not request the INTERNET permission and performs no network requests.
  • An account: no sign-in, password or server profile is needed.
  • Cloud and sync: a second phone gets data only through a transfer file.
  • Analytics, A/B experiments, crash collection and ads; no advertising identifiers are used.
  • Sale of data and transfer to third parties.
  • Android system backup for the app: allowBackup="false".

4. Permissions and why they are needed

The app requests only what reminders need:

  • Notifications — to show a medication reminder; they do not grant access to other apps' content.
  • Exact alarms (USE_EXACT_ALARM, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM) — to wake the device at the scheduled minute; they do not grant access to your calendar or alarms.
  • Full-screen notification — to show the intake card on the lock screen; it does not grant access to the screen or input.
  • Boot (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — to restore the schedule after a restart; it does not grant access to files.
  • Do Not Disturb policy access — to explain why a reminder may be silent and to help with setup; it does not read or control notifications without your action.
  • Vibration — a tactile reminder signal.

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS or full storage access. A transfer file is created on your explicit action through the system place picker.

Library service permissions (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, WAKE_LOCK) may be present in the merged manifest: they are needed to finish work immediately after an alarm and do not grant access to data. The exact permission set is in the release build's merged manifest.

5. Moving data by file

You create a transfer file on your own action. It contains medication names, doses and intake history, is not encrypted and is saved where you choose. A folder synced with the cloud will take the data to the cloud through that folder, not through the app. Treat the file as a medical document.

6. Logs and diagnostics

The app keeps a technical reminder log (time, reason, delivery channel) used to check delivery. Medication names and doses are not written to this log. The log does not leave the device; you can export it on your own action for troubleshooting.

7. Retention and deletion

Information stays on your device until you delete it:

  • clearing the app's data in Android settings deletes the local database and settings;
  • uninstalling the app deletes its private storage;
  • archived records are deleted with the app's data;
  • there is no server copy, so “deletion on the server” is neither required nor possible.

Before deleting, you may export a report or a transfer file — that is your choice.

8. Your rights

You can:

  • view and correct your records in the app;
  • delete a record, a profile or all data;
  • export history and a report;
  • contact the operator using the details above.

Because the operator does not receive health information, it cannot show that information from its own systems: it is not there. Requests unrelated to the content of your device are handled as required by law.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children and does not create children's accounts. An adult may keep a dependant's profile — a child or an elderly relative — on their own phone; that adult is responsible for the information entered and for access to the device.

10. The studio website

The app page on stohastika.ru is a separate surface. The studio website does not use advertising or analytics pixels and does not collect health information. This section does not change the fact that the app does not send health data.

11. Changes

If our practices or legal requirements change, this policy is updated and the effective date changes. Material changes are published on this page; continued use of the app after the effective date means acceptance of the new version to the extent permitted by law.

13. Languages

This policy is published in Russian, English and Chinese. If the versions differ, the Russian edition prevails.

14. Medical status

Sklyanka is not a medical device, does not give treatment recommendations and does not select dosages. The app does not check drug interactions, does not make a diagnosis and does not replace a doctor. Discuss all questions about treatment, doses and changes to your plan with your doctor.
